A BIT ABOUT ME
I have completed master’s degrees in Global Mental Health (King’s College London and LSHTM) and Counselling and Family Therapy (IGNOU), along with a Postgraduate Diploma and a B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology, both from Ashoka University. My clinical and research experience spans organisations including VIMHANS, Children First, Sangath, and Vandrevala Foundation. Psychoanalysis informs not just my work in the therapy space, but also how I think about people, meaning, and change more broadly.
WHAT DOES “WORKING WITH ME” FEEL LIKE?
Working with me involves making space for questions and allowing for not having all the answers right away. Therapy can often feel daunting, and my aim is to create a space where you don’t feel the need to perform or impress, as we work towards healing. Together, we will navigate the unknown, with the help of what we do know.
WHAT MIGHT A FIRST SESSION LOOK LIKE?
The first session is simply a starting point. You are welcome as you are, with your hopes, doubts, and imaginations. The intention is to start laying the foundation for our therapeutic relationship. We can explore what’s coming up for you, and let things surface naturally through our interaction.
WHO MIGHT I BE A GOOD FIT FOR?
I might be a good fit if you are open to reflecting, being curious, and exploring parts of yourself that may prefer to remain hidden. However, I may not be a good fit if you are looking for advice or solution-focused work.
