Beyond Mourning & Melancholia
Overview
The ongoing demand, if not the need, from psychotherapists is to stay close to the felt and inconsolable process of grieving. This experiential workshop draws from the work of Freud, Abraham and Torok as we engage with the depths of this process through a psychoanalytic lens using case excerpts.
The participants will be encouraged to read two papers before the talk: Mourning & Melancholia, Beyond Mourning & Melancholia.
